Client Brief
We worked with WJL Contracts to install bespoke timber panelling and flooring for this brand-new 470-seat theatre and performance venue. It was vital that this bespoke joinery matched the traditional, historic feel of the building.
Project Work
As part of this project we installed sound-reducing acoustic panelling across the building, including the dance studio, walkways, corridors, and walkways.
Our team also installed bars on the ground and first floor, as well as wooden cladding to the stage area, decked in custom bronze trims.
We also supplied and installed engineered hardwood flooring and vertical cladding within the beautiful Cockpit theatre. As the theatre is octagonal in shape, the flooring had to be specially designed and installed to a high standard.
Summary
As this project was large and intricate, regular communication was key. We had frequent meetings with WJL Contracts to ensure work ran smoothly.
We also worked with two other companies on this project, communicating closely with them to ensure work was completed quickly and to an impeccable standard.
